just_1_word :: 10.10 Brother
[ooc: This prompt is based on RP history from somewhere I used to play on Insanejournal. The Sam in question is used without permission, but very lightly and with lots of love.]
"Bitch."
Kira didn't have a family.
Okay, that's not true. She had her mom as far as blood went. Then there were the four guys she fought with and sometimes against during her last year of high school.
Still, that didn't matter here. Here in this fucked up dimension? She was just a character on some lame ass kids' show, pulled from her home world—or possibly just brought to life—to fight in a war the residing god-like beings had decided to rage. Her family? It didn't exist outside Toon Disney.
Of course she didn't count on getting this close to anyone in—mostly the same boat. His show was badass and his brother was back from the dead, but he could identify with her on at least a few things. Half the time they fought, but somehow they'd managed to forge something of a familial relationship.
Enough of one to afford the insulting nickname that would follow his.
"Brat."
